How are Semester Grades Calculated?
Students will receive separate grades for each quarter of that semester. In other words, grades do not carry over from one quarter to the next. Assuming that a student is not exempt from the final exam for a class, each quarter will represent 40% of the semester grade and the final will represent 20%. If a student is exempt from the final exam for a class, each quarter will represent 50% of the semester grade.
